During the 1960s, Finn Juhl designed a series of rug patterns for the Danish carpet manufacturer Vittrup, however, none of which were ever produced. With an ambition to offer a complete range of Finn Juhl designs, it was a natural step to launch his rugs with their characteristic circular pattern guiding the mind towards the Swinging Sixties. The trend was later embraced by designers such as Verner Panton.
